International Game Technology PLC, or IGT for short, is a London-based casino technology company that operates around the globe with offices in Rome, Las Vegas, Reno, and Providence, Rhode Island.
WagerWorks is a subsidiary of IGT that focuses on software development but the name is often used interchangeably for IGT in the industry, especially in New Jersey.

Time passed. In 2015, Gtech acquired IGT in a merger that saw Gtech get 51% of the new company. The new company took on International Game Technology as the name of their new corporate entity. The company is a casino conglomerate involved with almost every aspect of casino gaming.
