After Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Supremeland Gaming Expands to West Virginia

The up-and-coming iGaming provider, Supremeland Gaming, has experienced a whirlwind period of growth, gaining regulatory approval to operate in three states within a span of just eight weeks. Off the back of successful launches in Pennsylvania in February and New Jersey in early March, the Swedish-American online casino game studio announced acquiring an interim supplier license to introduce its portfolio to players in West Virginia as well.

Supremeland Gaming’s recent approval in three states makes it one of the fastest-rising suppliers in the American online gambling market. From having barely any domestic presence at the beginning of 2024, the company has quickly evolved into a multi-state operator ready to provide its unique slot games to online casino players across the East Coast.

During the official announcement, Supremeland Gaming’s CEO, Rickard Öhrn, said the company couldn’t wait to serve online casino customers in West Virginia. He added that acquiring the interim Supplier License in West Virginia is crucial in the company’s expansion to other states.

The company has already partnered with EveryMatrix, a provider of gambling integration platforms and management systems in several states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. SG has also teamed up with Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) for game testing, auditing, and certification purposes.

What Supremeland Gaming Brings to the Table

Despite only launching its first game suite in November 2023, SG has quickly gained traction for its fresh approach to online slot design and gameplay. The company’s titles combine immersive storytelling with cutting-edge graphics and the promise of high-paying bonus features.

Early hits, like Red Panda Rising and Munition Mine, provide prime examples of the supplier’s fusion of advanced visual aesthetics with engaging narratives. These unique attributes have helped the brand stand out in an increasingly crowded digital slot arena.

In its first year of release, Munition Mine by Supremeland Gaming has already been shortlisted for the CasinoBeats Game Developer Award. Created by SG’s development house, PowderKeg Studios, the slot game will go up in the debut category against 6 Pure Pearls by Blue Ring Studios, Crash Hamster Crash by Mascot Gaming, and Maverick by 1X2 Network’s AD LUNAM.

Through its partnership with respected platform provider EveryMatrix, Supremeland’s games will now be available to licensed online casino operators in West Virginia. The state’s online casinos generated nearly $140 million in revenue last year, according to the West Virginia Lottery.

Expanding to WV after Launching in PA and NJ

While West Virginia may represent Supremeland Gaming’s latest market entry, the tactical progression of its US expansion plan is quite evident. By first planting flags in the neighboring gaming hubs of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, the company took calculated steps to build its domestic infrastructure and gain logistical advantages.

Pennsylvania marked Supremeland’s official arrival in February with iGaming having been live there since 2019. Not more than a month later, the supplier integrated its content into online casinos in New Jersey, with the largest iGaming market in America dating back to 2013.

Now, with a third anchored position in West Virginia, the supplier finds its games technically deployable across three of the six active online casino states in the union.

When announcing the New Jersey partnership, Erik Nyman, President of EveryMatrix Americas, hinted at his company’s expanding US framework and the draw of Supremeland’s compelling new slot mechanics.

Nyman said that SG has established a framework to develop third-party games on its casino integration platform so that it can distribute them to its customers. The executive added that the company has selected several high-quality game studios to partner in the same way.

Putting their Best Financial Foot Forward

Beyond extending its distribution network, Supremeland Gaming’s entry into West Virginia allows the company to capitalize on a new revenue stream. Last November, the state formally joined the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement (MSIGA), opening the door for online poker liquidity sharing across participating member jurisdictions.

While shared poker pools themselves won’t directly benefit a slot provider, the development signaled West Virginia’s interest in expanding its regulated online gambling industry. MSIGA membership predicates fully open iGaming to follow and signals to operators the state is open for business.

For Supremeland, planting an early flag in West Virginia allows the company to build relationships and cultivate its brand ahead of full online casino legalization. When that inevitability occurs, the supplier will enjoy a first-mover advantage on established local operators and players alike, including Jackpocket which expanded to New Jersey a few months ago.

The Global Vision

Supremeland Gaming’s tri-state hat trick is merely the starting point for the company’s broader international aspirations. Founded in 2022, Supremeland’s New York headquarters and production studios located across North America, Europe, and Asia reflect its global approach to game design and deployment.

In its first year of operation, the company systematically expanded into regulated markets across the Americas, Europe, Africa, and Asia outside the U.S. With its domestic foothold now secured, Supremeland Gaming is positioned to accelerate multi-jurisdictional growth across both established and emerging gaming frontiers.

Öhrn has repeatedly emphasized his firm’s commitment to remaining at the cutting edge of online slot innovation. Establishing a widespread multi-national presence through thoughtful market entries like WV will prove pivotal to maintaining its competitive advantage over time.

Wrapping Up

Supremeland Gaming’s launch in West Virginia reconfirms the supplier’s aggressive ambitions to become the dominant player in America’s iGaming market. While its games have only been publicly available for less than a year, the company has impressively assembled a distribution footprint that will serve as a springboard for future expansion across the US and abroad.

West Virginia now joins Pennsylvania and New Jersey as the latest markets in SG’s campaign to gain the attention of domestic audiences. Where this up-and-coming brand expands to next in the US and globally will dictate its ambitions for the next two or so years.
