Earlier this month, partypoker US kicked off the long-awaited WPT online poker “Players Choice Series,” featuring eight tournaments, and it’s just what New Jersey players asked for. The tournaments will run through the end of the month, playing across three platforms partypoker, BetMGM Poker, and Borgata Poker. All registered players in New Jersey can join in the excitement.

Highlights of the WPT Players Choice Series
First up, was Event #2: $6,400 Guaranteed Heads-Up, with a $109 buy-in. That event was capped at 64 players. That event ended up with a $45,100 prize pool, and Jake “FerociousPanda” Toole walked away as the winner, with $8,036.82.
Event #3: $12K Guaranteed Mega 6-Max 1/2 Prize, with a $215 buy-in, resulted in a massive prize pool of $176,600. Alex “JinYang” Butcher left the table victorious, with a nice prize of $28,256.32.
Event #7: Shootout 6-Max No Limit Hold’em, with a $215 buy-in, ammassed a prize pool of $81,600, and winner “kgkg510” went home with $14,080.47.
That series concluded with the $320 buy-in Event #8: Sunday $40K GTD Main Event. The prize pool was a relatively modest $56,700, and the winner “upayformypennys” took home $11,340.

The Action Continues with the WPT Online Poker Open Main Event
In November, the World Poker Tour announced its first U.S.-based WPT online poker Main Tour event, the $3,500 WPT Online Poker Open Main Event. This action-packed WPT online poker series is set for Sunday, December 27, running through Wednesday, December 30. The final event will carry a cool $1 million guarantee.
The WPT Online Poker Open Main Event will play on the partypoker US Network for players in New Jersey. The network includes Partypoker, Borgata poker, and BetMGM.
The record-setting $1 million guarantee shows just how serious the World Poker Tour and partypoker are about making this one an online poker tournament worth remembering.
