EveryMatrix Applies for NJ License to Provide Tech Solutions to Casinos in the Garden State

Well, known tech provider EveryMatrix recently applied for a license with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to provide NJ operators with CasinoEngine. CasinoEngine stands as the biggest casino content aggregator available in the market. What CasinoEnegine does is grant online casino operators access to an insanely diverse selection of casino games under the umbrella of one casino software program.

EveryMatrix already enjoys a longstanding and prosperous relationship with operators in the Garden State. As such, entry into NJ as its first market will ensure that the Malta-based tech company sees continuous growth.

Why is it so important that EvertMatrix receives approval to run in the Garden State? Well, that’s simple enough! You already know by now that the betting market in the Garden State is now unrivaled. Not even the once-mighty Nevada comes close to New Jersey’s might in the sports betting market.

Several factors have led EvertMatrix to seek a NJ operating license. First and foremost, the Garden State’s rapid ascendancy can be attributed to a ready and willing market; NJ has one of the most established casino and online betting industries hands down. So any organization that wants to cash in on legal casino and sports betting hailed as one of the biggest revenue generators in the world, then NJ is a natural place to start.

As EveryMatrix attempts to acquire its NJ license, it will also look towards establishing operations in other states that enjoy legal wagering. More than 2 dozen states have already activated such legislation as New Jersey with more lined up on the books. By 2024, legal sports betting will be available in more than 40 states.

At present, vibrant markets that EveryMatrix will want to keep an eye on including New Mexico, West Virginia, Mississippi, Rhode Island, Illinois, Iowa, and Delaware. Gambling experts predict that the legal sports betting market in the country could be valued at an impressive $7.9 billion in combined yearly revenue by 2024.

Despite the outpouring of competition in New Jersey, there are still opportunities for new entrants to thrive. EveryMatrix’s chance of success is high having had more than 11 years of experience working in regulated wagering markets. It already has licenses with the Malta Gaming Authority, the Danish Gambling Authority, and the ONJN, a license from the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement would be an excellent addition to its wide-ranging portfolio.

Add to that the fact that the sports betting market in New Jersey has never been more successful. And when the sports betting market thrives, the online casino market also sees an almost similar outflow of blessings. Today, the Garden State is on track to generate an estimated $1 billion in online casino GGR for the year.

EveryMatrix has had a busy couple of months

EveryMatrix recently entered into a partnership with Pragmatic Play. This partnership will see Pragmatic Play’s Live Casino products become available in EveryMatrix’s CasinoEngine platform. This means that once it receives approval from DGE, NJ punters will also have access to an array of titles that include but are not limited to Blackjack Azure, Mega Sic Bo, and more.

EveryMatrix also recently entered into an almost similar deal with Swedish game developer Gaming Corps. Gaming Corps is one of the world’s largest developers of gaming and iGaming products such as casino slots for the online market thus adding to its online casino business.

Another great partnership that EveryMatrix has made recently is with Leap Gaming, a thriving gaming, and virtual sports provider. As a result of this partnership, CasinoEngine will now avail Leap Gaming’s range of virtual products including virtual sports and 3D slots. These are all offerings that New Jersey punters can look forward to once EveryMatrix receives the approval it needs from DGE.

Online casino and poker games in NJ on the rise

Meanwhile, online casino and poker licensees in the state are raking it in. Just recently in October 2020, New Jersey’s online gambling and sports betting market annihilated all preceding financial records. This essentially makes the Garden State one of the world’s leading online gaming markets.

According to data shared by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE), online casino and poker licensees in NJ generated combined revenue of $93.45m in October, more than double the amount that was produced during the same period last year. Online casino revenue for the month was recorded at a modest $91m while online poker generated $2.5m.

For the year up to date, online revenue has gone up more than 103% to reach $779m with casinos up 103.4% to $745.7m and poker climbing up 88.5% to reach $33.4m. the Golden Nugget has been a market leader for some time now but Borgata and its BetMGM trail at second place.

Final Thoughts

It’s evident that if other states want to duplicate NJ’s success, then online gaming in its entirety must be a priority. Case in point, punters in Nevada don’t have access to online casino gaming aside from poker. Punters also can’t wager in sports online, which has been a big blow to the betting market, especially during the pandemic.

Undeniably, online gaming has been the safety net that has allowed the betting market in NJ to deal with the devastating impact of the outbreak. The revenue generated from online casinos and iGaming has been sufficient to preserve the tax revenues needed to keep the state afloat. Moving forward, this is a great lesson to keep in mind for any state that hopes to implement legal online gambling. Why wouldn’t EveryMatrix and every other smart operator want to get in on this action?
